Upon arrival we will talk about the issue that has brought you to the office, fill out some forms and then administer the APS inventory. More than likely you will be given an assignment to be done at home and an appointment will be made for your next appointment. Many have found that by simply beginning the process they have experienced great relief, this is because the emotional pressure valve has been opened. Expect to leave feeling some level of peace.

During the interval the APS will be processed and a computerized printout will be given to you at your next appointment, expect to be enlightened! This is a powerful tool and will help to make clear many of the internal issues that have plagued so many. Need and expectations will be exposed helping to lead to a better understanding of self and how to best go about solving the problem.

We will set some goals for our time together, this will allow us to know when therapy has served is purpose. The point of our counseling will be to briefly address problems and deal with them effectively, not to have endless sessions. Feel secure that we will continue to meet until we agree the goals are met, but our desire is to keep the therapy brief (10-15 sessions).
